Ta-Da! New KenBurger.com website!
Every now and then you have to change your look.
After I retired from The Post and Courier in 2011, I started writing a blog (www.kenburgerblog.com) and was pleased that so many people became regular readers. So were Morris Nissan and Roper St. Francis Healthcare, my two faithful sponsors whose ads appear on the site.
I also established a website (www.kenburger.com) as a conduit for promoting and selling my books (Swallow Savannah, Sister Santee, Salkehatchie Soup, and Baptized in Sweet Tea). This site included my speaking schedules, photos, and bios, etc.
As of Monday morning, June 10th, these two sites will be combined into a newly designed and comprehensive site (www.kenburger.com). Ta-da!
Not only will this pull everything Ken Burger together and make things more streamlined, it will allow us to market under a single brand. Branding, as you probably know by now, is the new buzz word in marketing. And marketing, as you probably know by now, is the new buzz word in book world.
That’s what all the experts say. Personally, I just wanted to see something different. In today’s ever-changing cyber world, we all grow weary of looking at the same graphics and photos every day. Therefore, it’s necessary to jazz things up every now and then.
Today, thanks to the efforts of web designer Mary Beth House, Tech Guy and keeper of the Ken Burger flame Zach Hogaboom, and my publicist Lynda Bouchard, we offer you the new, improved www.kenburger.com.
Hope you like it.
I do.
